Helping parents think more clearly about education, parenting, and family life

Hi, I’m Lauren.

I’m an educator, founder, writer, and consultant with over 20 years of experience working with children, families, and schools.

Much of my work has centered on understanding how children grow within the systems around them—schools, families, culture, and the environments we create every day for learning and development.

I’m interested in how those systems shape not only what children learn, but how they see themselves, relate to others, and move through the world.

Themes I Explore

  • Humane Education

  • Parenting in Modern Culture

  • Emotional Well-Being & Learning

  • Attention, Technology & Childhood

  • Adolescence & Identity

  • Family Systems & Daily Rhythms

  • Creativity, Meaning & Human Flourishing

  • Designing Environments Where Children Thrive

Work With Me

Family Education Design Sessions

I meet with families seeking a thoughtful perspective around school, parenting, learning, or broader questions of childhood and well-being.

These sessions are reflective, strategic, and deeply individualized — designed to help families step back from immediate pressures and better understand the larger systems, environments, and dynamics shaping their child’s experience.

Sessions are available virtually or in person.
